It's Robot Day again and with it a new cartoon!

Well actually I uploaded this cartoon back on the 26th of August, aka the olde Robot Day date! At that time I didn't know if there was even going to be a Robot Day, but as I had made one in any-case I decided to upload it on the traditional day. At any rate Robot Day is one of my favourite Newgrounds events and I hope you all the enjoy the robotic goodness. So for those who missed it, or those who want to enjoy it on Robot Day proper, here is my tragic and relatable Robot Day cartoon.

Hi there! So, I made cartoon for Robotday! (it got front paged, thanks!)

Make Way for Robotday2021

For this one I did a wee bit of experimentation with procedural smoke and fire using blender over a painted backdrop. It seems like something that'll be useful in future projects but here I only used it in for 3 frames!

Terra EYEG: An egg horror game

It's a short spooky horror game make in the style of old 90's adventure games, the kind with prerendered backgrounds, à la Myst. Also it's made in flash :P

Oh the joys of actionscript 2.0 and frame labels

The retro look was achived by first rendering scenes in blender 2.9 with basic low poly models but high res textures and then using pixatool to downscale and dither them. I think it's quite effective!

Also, I guess this turned out to be a compainon piece to the other game I've uploaded here EYE

Friends, we've updated another one of our old cartoons to 1080p Video!

Back in the day I gave Primebuster a juicebox he liked so much he went into a kind of trance and started narrating this crazy tale of epic sea quests and legendary juiceboxes, And then afterwards I animated it.

Fast forward to the present and I found all the old video files for the CG and live action parts on an old CD, all in uncommpressed AVI format, and decided to upscale this crazy thing for you folks! (which is a good thing too as the flash version doesn't work anymore)
